Because consumerism aside, I don’t understand why people “hate” Valentine’s Day. You “hate” the fact that there are people who are happily in love? You “hate” the fact that people can love, protect and take care of each other? You “hate” the old couple sitting on the park bench holding hands and snuggling close? Really? I think we should all appreciate and be thankful that there are such things in life whether we are partnered up or not.
